EMR System: Altera SCM inpatient, Athena Outpatient

Responsibilities
Participate in the care and medical decision making for preoperative, intra-operative, and postoperative patients at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent Indianapolis and the Children's Heart Center.
Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds in the cardiac care unit.
Order, perform, and interpret imaging, data, and labs.
Perform procedures, such as temporary pacing wire and chest tube removal.
Navigate and create records in the patient chart using the Sunrise Clinical Manager and AthenaHealth EMR systems.
About Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at Ascension St. Vincent Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at Ascension St. Vincent is part of Indiana’s largest not-for-profit health system with 22 ministries and over 3000 physicians. An attached tertiary care, pediatric hospital with 40 private inpatient beds and 8 short stay beds, staffed in-house 24/7 by our Pediatric Hospitalist group. A 14-bed PICU and 8-bed CVICU staffed 24/7 by Pediatric Intensivists. A 18-bed Pediatric Emergency department staffed 24/7 by Pediatric Emergency physicians. One of Indiana’s largest Level IV NICU with 109 beds staffed 24/7 by Neonatologists. Through our system your family will get faster access to more than 100 highly experienced pediatric specialists.
Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Nurse Practitioner specializing in Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education
Master's degree of Nursing required.
