Security Officer - Commercial Access Patrol

San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with tenants and visitors, deliver outstanding customer service, and respond promptly to situations as they arise. Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or potential security-related issues to the appropriate personnel. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential problems within the commercial real estate environment. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees while performing assigned duties. Complete required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities. Minimum Requirements
Access control or badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
