The
Artistic Director
leads the Olympia Peace Choir, a 16‑year‑old non‑auditioned community chorus dedicated to using song for peace, social justice, and environmental stewardship.
Responsibilities
Lead Monday evening rehearsals (7 pm–9 pm) and prepare the choir for performances.
Coordinate the season runs from early September to late May, including 2–3 concerts and 1–2 retreats each year.
Develop and implement music programming that supports the choir’s mission of peace and stewardship.
Collaborate with the elected board and committees on artistic initiatives.
Compensation Salary: $20,000–$25,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Location & Schedule Olympia, Washington. Part‑time; Monday evening rehearsals with preparation time throughout the season.
