Advertised Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team focused on developing inorganic complexes for the activation and conversion of small molecules and chemical feedstocks. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and synthesis of novel organometallic compounds and will lead efforts to evaluate their structure and reactivity. Key responsibilities include: organic/organometallic synthesis, X‑ray crystallographic and NMR spectroscopic studies, and scientific publishing. Experience in working with air‑ and moisture‑sensitive materials is essential. Familiarity with molecular spectroscopic techniques (IR, UV‑Vis, NMR, etc.) is desirable. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to inorganic chemistry research relevant to energy and the environment.

Required Education and Experience

Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry with expertise in organometallic synthesis.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Expertise in the synthesis of organic and organometallic compounds.

Experience and knowledge of X‑ray crystallography and related structural characterization techniques such as NMR and IR spectroscopy.

Experience in synthetic techniques for the handling of air‑ and moisture‑sensitive materials using dual manifolds and gloveboxes.

Written and oral scientific communication skills.
