Lead/Assistant Toddler Teacher

About the Role Lead daily activities, inspire young minds, and collaborate with a supportive team. You will implement an engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom.
Key Responsibilities
Implement age-appropriate lesson plans using the Wonder of Learning® curriculum.
Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
Maintain open, effective communication with families and guardians.
Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to uphold health and safety standards.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Observe, assess, and document children’s learning and development.
Support Assistant and Resource Teachers, fostering collaboration.
Model positive guidance strategies to support social-emotional growth.
Qualifications
High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education preferred.
Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred.
45‑hour Growth and Development Certification preferred.
45‑hour Infant and Toddler Methods and Materials Certification preferred.
1–2 years of experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred.
Successfully completed state-required pre‑service training.
Develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, families, and faculty.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required when handling children.
