Role Overview Join our dynamic team as an
Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner)
to deliver top‑notch care to
Outpatient Neurology and Neuro‑Oncology
patients! In this role, you'll collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team and take the lead in caring for neuro‑oncology patients. You'll ensure exceptional, patient‑centered care while creating an environment that supports patients and their families. As a clinical expert, you'll also provide valuable education and consultation to your colleagues, making a lasting impact on patient outcomes!
Key Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited PA program
NCCPA certification
Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
A minimum of 3 years of related clinical experience
Neurology/Neuro‑Oncology experience preferred
Or
Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses
Related National NP certification
Master's degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
A minimum of 3 years of related clinical experience
Neurology/Neuro‑Oncology experience preferred
Core Skills
Skilled at anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
Able to multitask effectively while managing care for diverse patient populations.
Resourceful in securing and utilizing resources efficiently.
Strong communicator, ensuring clarity and collaboration.
Relatable and comfortable engaging with diverse groups of people.
Adaptable, adjusting approach and demeanor to meet the changing demands of various situations in real‑time.
Additional Information
Hours:
Flex 10 hours between 8am and 8pm, 4 days per week (may include some weekends/holidays)
Location:
Rockefeller Outpatient Pavilion, 160 E. 53rd Street, New York, NY
Reporting to:
Manager, APP
Pay Range:
$155,500-$197,400
