National janitorial cleaning company is looking for reliable people to provide commercial cleaning in shopping malls and major retail department stores. Pleasant, drug‑free work environment. EEO. Background check required. Must be at least 18 years of age, have reliable transportation, and be willing to work weekends. Responsibilities
Work as a member of the housekeeping team under a local Site Manager, cleaning a shopping mall or department store. Perform daily cleaning tasks before and after mall/store closing, including: Cleaning entrances, restrooms, vinyl, stone, other hard floor surfaces, carpet, Food Court, break rooms. Dusting, wiping, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and using various machines for cleaning work. Operating a diesel‑fired hot water pressure washer to clean sidewalks and entrance aprons (with proper safety precautions). Stacking Food Court chairs and/or moving tables to allow access to floor for cleaning. Patrol mall during open hours, looking for spills and hazards; clean up wet/dry spills and call for assistance with larger spills. Wipe down mall common area furniture, entrances, well glass; scrape gum from floor and sidewalks. Perform touch‑up cleaning and restock restrooms. Porter Food Court tables and chairs, wipe down after customers, remove trays to designated area, wash trays using commercial equipment or by hand. Empty common area trash receptacles, load and operate trash compactor and cardboard compactor machinery. Use cleaning chemicals, mops, buckets, rags, brooms, vacuum cleaners, commercial ride‑on/walk‑behind scrubbers, electric/propane floor buffers, and other equipment as needed.
