Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) / Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee (SUDPT)
We are seeking a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP)/Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee (SUDPT) to support individuals in recovery through compassionate, evidence‑based counseling services. This role offers hands‑on clinical experience, strong supervision, and professional growth while making a meaningful impact in the community.
Compensation
Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $33.00/hr
Sign‑On Bonus: $1,000
Location: Yakima, WA
Responsibilities
Provide individual and group counseling services
Communicate client progress with care teams and external agencies
Maintain timely, accurate documentation per WAC requirements
Deliver client and family education
Assist with crisis intervention and referrals
Participate in team meetings and clinical trainings
Maintain licensure and complete supervised trainee hours
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Active Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) / Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee (SUDPT) credential
Professional license and registration number from the State Department of Health
Ability to complete required supervised hours (based on education level)
No substance misuse for at least 2 years prior to employment
