We are looking for caring, energetic educators who love working with young children and desire to support their academic, social‑emotional, and spiritual growth in a faith‑filled environment. Our preschool program serves 3‑ and 4‑year‑old students, who are sometimes coming to school for the first time.
Responsibilities
Planning and leading developmentally appropriate, play‑based preschool instruction
Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
Differentiating instruction to support a range of learners and developmental needs
Establishing consistent routines and positive classroom culture
Communicating effectively and warmly with parents and guardians
Collaborating closely with instructional staff and administration
Supporting the Catholic mission of the school through age‑appropriate faith formation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Early Childhood Education (Preschool or Pre‑K)
Strong classroom management and organizational skills
Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs (special education background a plus)
Familiarity with Washington State early learning standards (preferred)
Practicing Catholic preferred; respect for and alignment with Catholic education required
Willingness to grow with a developing preschool program and contribute long‑term
Compensation Hourly Rate:
$17.50 – $21.00, based on experience, internal equity, and role responsibilities
Benefits Benefits for part‑time positions may vary. Details will be shared during the hiring process. For full‑time employees, a comprehensive package of benefits is offered including two medical plan options, dental, vision, life, accidental death and disability, long‑term disability, pension, 403(b), HSA, FSA, and generous sick leave, vacation, and holidays.
