Housekeeping Crew
National janitorial cleaning company is looking for reliable people to provide commercial cleaning in shopping malls and major retail department stores. Pleasant, drug‑free work environment. EOE. Background check required. Must be at least 18 years of age to apply, have reliable transportation, and be willing to work weekends.
Job Responsibilities
Works as a member of the housekeeping team cleaning a shopping mall or department store under the direction of a local Site Manager.
Independently and as a team member, performs the same tasks each day, may work shifts before and after mall/store open hours.
Typical pre‑closing tasks: cleans entrances, restrooms, vinyl, stone, other hard floor surfaces, carpet, food court, break rooms; dusts, wipes, sweeps, mops, scrubs using various machines; restocks restrooms; may operate diesel‑fired hot water pressure washer; may stack food court chairs or move tables.
Typical during‑open tasks: patrols mall looking for spills and hazards; cleans spills, wipes mall furniture, doors, glass; scrapes gum; touch‑up cleaning; restocks restrooms; ports/trays; empties trash; operates trash compactor; cleans cardboard; uses chemicals, mops, buckets, rags, brooms, vacuum, ride‑on or walk‑behind scrubbing machines, floor buffer; may use other equipment.
Performs other cleaning tasks as assigned.
