Role Description Isannah H. Lee, CPA, PSC. is a local CPA firm seeking an accounting student, part‑time or full‑time, who would like to expand their knowledge in the field of accounting. The firm is primarily tax based, which allows employees to become familiar with, and learn to use, high‑end tax software. Applicants need to be an accounting major, at least at the sophomore level, preferably having completed the initial 200 level courses.

The job may be used as an internship, or for college credit, if the student gets the approval of the applicable college department head.

Applicant can start as soon as they are hired with no specific end date.

Responsibilities

General bookkeeping in QuickBooks

Individual and business tax preparation and data entry

Calculation and preparation of weekly/semi‑monthly client payrolls

Preparation of monthly/quarterly/yearly payroll tax returns and sales tax returns

Tax research

Respond to notices from government tax authorities

Communicate with clients

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Courses completed: Accounting 201 and 202.
