Accounting Clerk – Contract to Hire – Athens
We’re looking for a Contracting Finance and Accounting Recruiter / Talent Expert to support our client in the Athens, AL area. The role is onsite with immediate interview and start. Please apply below.
Base Pay Range $22.00/hr – $28.00/hr, DOE.
Responsibilities This role includes handling Accounts Payable duties such as keying, coding, and processing invoices, performing 3‑way matching, data entry, and other related accounting tasks.
Qualifications
Basic knowledge of proper accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
Experience in a multi‑company environment is helpful.
Ability to perform basic accounting calculations and analysis.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel with knowledge of Excel accounting functions.
ERP system knowledge would be a plus.
