Location: Towson, Maryland – Sheppard Pratt main campus, Baltimore County.

The Adolescent Female Crisis Stabilization Unit is a 22‑bed unit focused on multidisciplinary assessment, evaluation, crisis intervention, and stabilization of adolescent female patients. Discharge planning emphasizes transition to day hospital or outpatient care as soon as the crisis has been stabilized.
Responsibilities
Provide a wide range of social work/counseling services to an assigned caseload of patients in support of established treatment plan goals and discharge plans.
Complete a comprehensive psychosocial assessment on each patient at time of admission.
Meet individually with patients on caseload as well as with families and/or significant others to monitor and evaluate progress.
Conduct daily group psychotherapy sessions for assigned patients; lead a wide array of psycho‑therapeutic groups in collaboration with other members of the treatment team.
Communicate all aspects of patient care to treatment team members.
Requirements
Master's degree in social work, counseling or related field and a MD state license (LCSW‑C, LMSW or LCPC, LGPC) at time of hire and throughout tenure.
At least 2 years of experience; experience in a mental health setting strongly preferred.
