Intake Specialist - Child and Family Services
Job Summary: The Intake Specialist (LPHA) provides assessments and diagnostic services to children with serious mental illness and their families. The LPHA works in partnership with racially and culturally diverse individuals and families to define and facilitate their desired life outcomes. The LPHA provides diagnostic evaluations and assessment of strengths, preferences, challenges and symptoms of psychiatric and/or co-occurring disorders. The LPHA may also provide crisis assessment and interventions as needed. The LPHA works on a team with other behavioral health professionals to coordinate client care.

Education
Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
License
Current and valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA), LPC, LCSW, Licensed Psychologist, or LMFT.
Experience
Experience working with children and families.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Hours
Full‑time.
Workdays Monday - Friday
Workhours 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary $67,390.17 to $85,914.73 annually, depending on licensed experience.
