Production Operator (Springfield, MO)
PRODUCTION OPERATOR You will produce and assemble products in the plant, operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring production standards are met, finalizing products, and preparing them for shipping. Responsibilities
Observe all safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work area. Apply quality instructions & specifications. Monitor the production or packing operation to ensure quality objectives are met. Load/unload material into and from equipment. Work as a team member through sharing information, problem solving & assisting others. Understand and follow all safety policies and procedures. Follow process standards to ensure quality product is produced. Perform data entry and recording required tests and adjust processes as necessary to meet quality specifications. Maintain excellent housekeeping. Handle hazardous waste material in accordance with federal and state regulations. Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or higher, verified prior to start. Ability to work a 2nd or 3rd shift or a 12‑hour night/rotating shift (approximately 7:00 PM–7:00 AM). Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays as required. Desired Qualifications
Minimum one year of plant and/or manufacturing experience. Post‑high school education. Experience with control charting, material handling, packaging, chemical manufacturing, and hazardous waste management. Experience working with computers in a manufacturing setting. Attention to detail, prioritization, self‑motivation, teamwork, problem solving, analytical thinking, effective communication skills, strong work ethic, initiative, and a focus on safety. Eligibility
