Join our Fiesta Mart Store Operations Team as a Dairy Deli Frozen Clerk at 031 Houston‑Edgebrook. This role is open to 16‑17‑year‑olds and involves assisting customers, maintaining fresh displays, and rotating self‑serve items in the Dairy Deli Frozen Department.
Responsibilities
Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service to customers.
Clean display cases, shelves, and self‑serve displays within the Dairy Deli Frozen Department.
Assist customers with product selections and answer basic questions.
Maintain the visual appearance of the department, including rotating stock to keep items fresh.
Lift and move items up to 60 pounds as needed.
Under direct supervision, ensure the department remains organized and stocked.
Qualifications
Read and write Spanish and English; interact with the general public and coworkers.
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and short correspondence.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers and employees.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 60 pounds.
