Based in Wendell, NC. Shift Hours: 8AM-4:30PM Hourly Rate: Job Grade 84 - $24.79 Responsibilities
Safely ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of automated machinery, mechanical and electrical equipment, and tools with preventive maintenance. Troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems, analyzing test results, machine error messages, and gathering operator feedback. Maintains, adjusts, and calibrates equipment according to specifications and PM checklists. Purchases repair parts and MRO material and recommends spare parts as needed. Collaborates in the assembly, dismantling, and rigging of machinery and production equipment. Assisting in coordinating outside vendors to schedule and perform maintenance and repair tasks. Operate tools and equipment common to the mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical trades. Reviews schematics and manuals for specifications to determine work details and procedures. Assembles pipes, sections, tubing, fitting and installs, connects, tests, and maintains mechanical devices, electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures. Addressing reported safety concerns within the work area by implementing corrective actions. Qualifications
Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language. Ability to reach, grasp, lift 75lb, and push/pull/slide heavy material. Must be able to make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects. Ability to stoop, bend, squat, crawl, and climb. Knowledge and experience with LOTO and proper safety procedures Shop math; blueprint and schematic reading and mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic knowledge Prior experience in an industrial maintenance environment Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship Preferred Qualifications
Associates degree or 5 years work experience in field. Knowledge of PLC and industrial control logic. Troubleshooting, use of mechanical/electrical/measuring tools; intermediate computer skills. Prior use or familiarity with CMMS software. Prior crane, scissor lift, and powered industrial truck use and certification.
