Shift 1st shift - Mon - Thurs 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM EST (4 - 10s schedule)
Pay Range $16 - $18 per hour (Basis experience and interview results)
Responsibilities
Utilize Production ERP (Synchoro), Access, and complete necessary data entry
Set gauge pins accurately and according to work instructions
Read blueprints and tape measure accurately
May be trained to act as forklift operator or other powered equipment handler.
Cast products to company specification and review quality
Operate all equipment to perform job correctly and safely
Load tunnel oven
Complete batching as needed
Inspect, clean dies and related equipment at least daily
Cleans equipment, maintains a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and readies or puts away tools as assigned.
Closely follows directions to operate machinery, hold or supply materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery.
Take measurements to verify product quality as needed
Verifies measuring instruments (for example: gauges, calipers, and micrometers, etc.) are in proper working order.
Sets and adjusts necessary controls to regulate machines as needed
Communicate suggestions for continuous process improvements
Always maintain a safe work environment.
Train new operators as needed
Report any issues to supervisor or lead operator
Must adhere to all company and location policies and safety rules
Follows work orders to customer and other specifications to ensure the proper process is followed
Other duties as assigned
These responsibilities may change in the future to keep up with customer demands, equipment changes and improved Standard Operating Procedures
Required Skills/Abilities
Must be able to work in noisy environments
Must be able to work extended hours when required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required
Ability to bend, stoop, walk, twist, lift, stand, push and pull material
Ability to follow written instructions.
Ability to follow proper safety protocols.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and maintain a positive attitude
Basic math skills
Highly motivated
Education And Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational school diploma a plus.
