Overview INDEVCO North America is expanding and hiring an entry‑level Material Handler in Orangeburg. This role offers training and growth potential. After training, you will transition to your designated shift.
Responsibilities
Operate forklift, pole truck, clamp truck, and assist in other machine operations.
Work, act, think, and converse in terms of improving quality and eliminating waste.
Understand compliance with safety, environmental, and quality policies for forklift and clamp truck operations.
Stop any operation that does not meet customer expectations or violates approved quality and safety standards.
Ensure day‑to‑day machine operations align with quality system policies and procedures.
Coordinate inter‑plant shipments, transfer raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials.
Collaborate efficiently with other divisions to drive improvements.
Continuously improve processes as an individual and a team member.
Requirements
Basic computer and math skills.
Mechanical aptitude.
Experience operating forklift, pole truck, and clamp truck.
History of learning and applying new information and technology.
Proficient in written and oral English communication.
Team‑oriented and capable of lifting approximately 50 lbs.
Able to sit/stand for long periods.
Flexibility to work any shift, including evening/overnight shifts.
Must meet drug and physical testing requirements.
