They maintain well‑stocked inventory, assist customers, and provide expert advice. As a Delivery Driver you will use company‑provided vehicles, safely deliver automotive parts, and enjoy career stability and growth opportunities. No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
Responsibilities
Customer Service Excellence – Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate closely with store personnel and commercial accounts to ensure smooth team collaboration and strong customer relationships.
Metrics Mindedness & Process Orientation – Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
Delivery Operations – Drive company‑provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers. Load and unload parts accurately per route schedules.
Returns & Pickups – Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
Safety Compliance – Adhere to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines and fleet safety policies.
Cash & Charge Transactions – Process customer payments securely in accordance with company policies.
Product Knowledge & Fleet Maintenance – Stay updated on promotions and automotive products. Maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues.
Qualifications
Minimum age of 18.
Valid driver’s license and adherence to AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
Physical ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
You’ll Go the Extra Mile If You Have
High school diploma or GED.
Exceptional communication skills in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
Hazmat endorsement preferred.
