Maintenance Technician – Food & Beverage Manufacturing (Night Shift)
Location:
Indianapolis, IN (Northwest side)
Shift:
2-2-3 Schedule | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Pay:
$33.00 – $40.00/hour + $1.00 shift differential

The Maintenance Technician will support night-shift manufacturing operations by maintaining and troubleshooting production and facility equipment. This role is
primarily mechanical
in nature, with electrical troubleshooting responsibilities. Automation and PLC-related work is supported by a dedicated Automation Engineer.
This technician will report to a Maintenance Supervisor and work alongside other technicians on the overnight shift to ensure equipment uptime, safety, and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, including:
Filling machines
Seamers
Case packers
Blending and mixing equipment
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on facilities equipment such as
boilers and chillers
Complete electrical maintenance and repairs on motors, gearboxes, and conveyor systems
Replace mechanical components including bearings, gears, belts, chains, nuts, bolts, and machine parts
Perform preventative maintenance (PMs), including cleaning, greasing, inspections, and equipment teardown as needed
Document maintenance activities and completed work orders in the internal system
Partner with production and maintenance leadership to reduce downtime and improve reliability
Follow all safety, food safety, and sanitation standards
Qualifications
2+ years of industrial maintenance experience within food & beverage manufacturing (required)
Strong mechanical maintenance background with electrical troubleshooting experience
Experience working on high-speed packaging or bottling equipment
Familiarity with facilities maintenance, including boilers and chillers
Comfortable working overnight shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule
Strong sense of urgency and accountability
Positive, team-oriented, and collaborative mindset
