ATI is currently seeking a Material Handler to join our facility in Cudahy, WI. Our Material Handler position reports to the Operations Leader and is an integral part of a dedicated team who take great pride in helping ATI achieve production and quality results.
Our Material Handlers are responsible for the preparation of domestic and international shipments in accordance with shipping requirements and specifications.
This is a second shift position from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
Use crane and hand-operated equipment to aid in unloading trucks
Open all packages once unloaded
Check incoming supplies with packing slips and purchase order to ensure accuracy and completion
Drive and operate ATI equipment in performance of the job
Move incoming supplies and material to proper storage areas, bins, racks, boxes, etc.
Pack products in boxes, crates or on pallets to conform to specifications and requirements
Band products and weigh shipment and attach shipping and handling instructions
Check shipment for correct materials, packing and crating, tagging and handling instructions, loading and bracing
Completes necessary paperwork.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Knowledge of shipping and handling methods
Minimum of 1 year material handling experience.
Preferred Qualifications (in addition to Basic Qualifications)
Forklift experience
Overhead crane experience
Warehouse and inventory control experience
Material inventory experience.
