NTS focuses on growth in the power distribution market, with production facilities in West Hazleton, PA, and new sites in Decatur, AL and Crawfordsville, IN.
Basic Job Functions We are seeking a maintenance technician to support safety, electrical, and mechanical maintenance of the Towers and Structures facility. Responsibilities include:
Supporting development of safe work practices and procedures for the facility.
Supporting the implementation of new equipment and technologies.
Maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading production equipment.
Attending and facilitating trainings on equipment and maintenance best practices.
Collaborating with all departments to plan future needs and improvements.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; candidates must demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Demonstrated ability and willingness to uphold safety policies as outlined above.
Preferred Qualifications
Industrial maintenance experience.
Competency with computer and mobile applications such as Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic processes.
Knowledge of electrical field.
Willingness to expand and share technical knowledge.
