Overview
The Mammography Technologist performs specialized breast examinations to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. The role involves operating mammographic radiographic equipment and other devices, performing advanced breast imaging procedures such as stereotactic and MRI biopsies, and providing complex technical care to meet identified patient needs. Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program. Minimum of 1 year experience as a Mammography Technologist. Licenses and Certifications
(R) ARDMS or ARRT – Radiographer Registered Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (R), required upon hire. (M) ARDMS or ARRT – Mammography (M) – ARRT, required upon hire. BCLS – Basic Life Support, required upon hire. Job Details
