Warehouse Associate II The team member in this position is responsible for the quality and efficiency of trailer loading/unloading to include the pallet handling process. The team member will operate a forklift or work with the LGV (Laser Guided Vehicle) and handling system. This includes checking outbound trailers prior to loading, monitoring all LGV activity in the warehouse, following SOPs to maintain inventory accuracy, prepping loads for cross‑country shipments and customer requirements while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Essential Functions
LGV sites
Receive and process all inbound orders into the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including raw materials, pallets, ingredients, and internal transfers.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines for receiving, including compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.
Process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) efficiently and accurately.
Validate new SKUs in the WMS to ensure proper storage and handling by the LGVs (Laser Guided Vehicles).
Clear blocked locations in WMS to ensure smooth operations.
Coordinate with CSO (Central Shipping Office) to ensure smooth flow of shipments in and out of the warehouse as per schedule.
Compile records by SKU, quantities, sub‑inventories, and validate Oracle EBS, and WMS inventories against physical counts to investigate and adjust errors. Report reasons for discrepancies.
Non‑LGV
Receive and process all inbound orders into the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including raw materials, pallets, ingredients, and internal transfers.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines for receiving, including compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.
Process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) efficiently and accurately.
Coordinate with CSO (Central Shipping Office) to ensure smooth flow of shipments in and out of the warehouse as per schedule.
Compile records by SKU, quantities, sub‑inventories, and validate Oracle EBS, and WMS inventories against physical counts to investigate and adjust errors. Report reasons for discrepancies.
Routine Tasks
Rebuild damaged pallets prior to restock.
Consolidate finished goods storage for maximum storage capabilities.
Identify, report and observe quality issues with finished goods and RMS.
Correct product spills.
Manually pull pallets from production as needed.
Supply production with non‑inventory items (glue, bags, labels, etc.).
Clear blocked locations in WMS.
Operate a forklift when needed and unload finished goods and raw material deliveries.
Facilitate the flow of information between logistics, production and sales to ensure timely and accurate service to customer base.
Test and monitor resin and spring water.
Coordinate pre‑load activities including inspecting trailers to ensure all loads are completed on time.
Provide correct loading documents / bills of lading and truck seals upon leaving the facility as needed.
Maintain appropriate records and reports required for daily shipping and inventory control.
Participate in continued process improvement and cost reduction.
Maintain a clean, orderly and safe warehouse.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Make phone calls using proper phone etiquette.
Communicate with inside and outside contacts to ensure loading of trucks on time and troubleshoot any issues.
Coordinate with transportation and production/scheduling to ensure all shipments are flowing in and out of warehouse as scheduled.
Perform any task that is not deemed unreasonable or unsafe and is asked to be done by the team member’s manager or supervisor.
