Job Title Temporary BeeMORE Program Coordinator (Temporary position)

Location Raleigh, NC

About the Role Candidate will assist in the logistical support for the Research and Extension Experiences for Undergraduates (REEU) BeeMORE program, coordinating applications, travel, stipends, housing, and administrative tasks. The role also includes field work and honey bee research alongside the Apiculture Technician.

Key Responsibilities

Support logistics for BeeMORE program: manage applications, travel arrangements, stipend payments, and housing.

Prepare, examine, and analyze invoices, receipts, and travel authorizations for participants.

Process travel, check requests, journal entries, and purchase orders for research projects.

Assist in field work, basic beekeeping support, and research collaborations.

Required Experience & Education

Combination of training and experience sufficient to perform duties (minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent).

BS in Biology or related field preferred.

Interest in project coordination, logistics, database management, teamwork, research, and beekeeping.

Preferred Qualifications

1‑5 years of beekeeping experience.

Experience with web design, marketing, bookkeeping, or accounting.

Valid driver’s license (not required, but beneficial).

Schedule & Compensation

Full‑time, 40 hours per week; five days per week, eight hours per day with flexibility for extended hours and weekends.

Hourly rate: $22‑$24 per hour.
