WNCN CBS 17 in Raleigh, NC is looking for a do‑it‑all producer to coordinate and create specialty podcast‑style programming for CBS 17 Plus. The Streaming Producer is tasked with a variety of duties including producing, directing, editing, and posting of video content. This role will help manage CTV video distribution and programming for our 24/7 streaming app.
Program, schedule, and manage content across the CBS 17 Plus streaming app
Produce, direct and edit original shows and segments using OBS Studio and Adobe Creative Suite
Assist in CTV video distribution, including live‑hosted video in both unedited and breaking news formats
Research segments, write stories, and manage on‑screen graphics and visual elements for a successful OBS stream
Interest in/willingness to learn and understand successful IT and engineering setups for livestreaming
Desire to experiment and innovate in an evolving digital space while maintaining professionalism and journalistic principles
Basic understanding of camera settings, studio lighting, and audio processing
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work‑related experience
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to work well with team members
Proficiency with social media and the understanding of digital content creation
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
