Post-Doctoral Fellow in Chemistry and Chemical Biology (Mason Lab) The Mason Lab invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position. The Mason group applies the tools of synthetic chemistry and nanoscience to design materials that address basic science challenges in energy and medicine, with a particular emphasis on the development of chemical strategies to manipulate entropic effects, phase transitions, and porosity. The Postdoctoral Fellow will be responsible for leading new research directions in the development of microporous nanomaterials for biomedical applications.

Responsibilities:

Conduct research in materials chemistry.

Publish and present research findings in high-quality scientific journals and conferences.

Collaborate with faculty, researchers, and students on interdisciplinary research projects.

Contribute to the preparation of research proposals.

Participate in teaching and mentoring activities for undergraduate and graduate students.

Basic Qualifications:

A Ph.D. in a relevant field.

Demonstrated record of research achievement.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
