The Outside Sales Representative will focus on managing and expanding customer relationships in the Houston market while actively pursuing new business opportunities in the Gulf Coast region. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role that blends technical sales knowledge with strong relationship‑building skills. The right candidate will be comfortable engaging with plant‑level decision makers, uncovering opportunities, and presenting tailored solutions that support both day‑to‑day operations and large capital projects.

What you’ll do:

Travel throughout the Houston area to support existing accounts and develop new opportunities.

Build trust with plant managers, engineers, and procurement teams by listening to needs and providing solutions.

Generate leads and secure Requests for Quotes, working to position the company on approved supplier lists.

Develop regional sales strategies for CAPEX, repair, and turnaround projects.

Use data and market insights to forecast and analyze sales performance.

Represent the company at trade shows, industry forums, and networking events.

What you bring:

5+ years of success in process equipment sales, such as heat exchangers, pressure vessels, or pumps, with proven ability to grow long‑term client partnerships.

Working knowledge of reactive and corrosion‑resistant metals used in process environments, including Tantalum, Titanium, Zirconium, and high‑nickel alloys like Hastelloy®.

Familiarity with Houston‑based facilities and a strong professional network in the region.

A strong closer mentality, willing to get in front of customers, address concerns in real time, and advance opportunities through direct engagement.

Willingness to travel within the greater Houston area regularly, with occasional trips throughout the Gulf Coast.
