Pay Range $40.00/hr – $45.00/hr
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary EHS representative for the project, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and contract requirements.
Support the project management team with on-site safety inspections, reporting, and training coordination.
Conduct and document daily safety inspections of the job site.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety logs, incident reports, and OSHA recordkeeping (including injury/illness logs).
Interface with regulatory agencies such as OSHA as needed.
Provide ongoing safety training and toolbox talks to on-site personnel.
Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate closely with facility management and subcontractors to ensure alignment with EHS standards.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of continuous experience in construction safety management with the USACE.
OSHA EM 385-1-1 certification required.
Current First Aid/CPR certification.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital safety platforms.
Ability to work independently and manage site safety with minimal supervision.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting federal construction projects, especially USACE or DoD.
Familiarity with incident investigation and root cause analysis methods.
Prior experience coordinating with subcontractors and site leadership on large-scale builds.
