About Us At Midwest Autism & Therapy Centers, we create a culture where clinical expertise is recognized, supported, and celebrated. As a center-based and outcomes-focused organization, our mission is simple: to show up as our best so we can create the greatest possible impact in the lives of the children and families we serve.
Responsibilities and Duties: We seek passionate Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to join our team and expand the availability of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy at our centers in the Greater Des Moines, Iowa area. Midwest Autism & Therapy Center maintains reasonable BCBA-to-client ratios to ensure BCBAs can provide meaningful supervision to their team of 1:1 therapists, continually update treatment plans, and ensure every client receives the highest quality therapy.
BCBAs conduct regular caregiver trainings and collaborate with related service providers to help families truly understand the principles and application of ABA.
Our 1:1 therapists hold undergraduate degrees from a four-year college or university and obtain their Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB if they are not already credentialed. We strive to provide our RBTs with stable, predictable schedules that support their professional success and well-being. In turn, our young clients benefit directly from having consistent, caring therapists who remain committed to their growth.
We invest in our employees so they can provide exceptional therapy to families. Our team prioritizes high-quality ABA service delivery, and all data is collected through clinical software that directly supports treatment planning, progress monitoring, and insurance reporting.
Requirements Qualifications and Skills:
Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the BACB
Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) or eligibility for licensure in the state (if applicable)
Minimum 1–2 years of experience providing ABA services (preferred, not always required)
Experience supervising RBTs and behavior technicians
Ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Commitment to ethical practice aligned with BACB Ethics Code
