Columbus Cardiology Associates, a CVAUSA partner, has a team of six cardiologists and nine advanced practice providers dedicated to comprehensive, compassionate, high‑quality cardiovascular care throughout Columbus, GA, and Phenix, AL. Our specialties include cardiac consultative evaluations, interventions, and a full spectrum of cardiac and vascular testing.
We are expanding our services in South Georgia and need a patient‑centered Advanced Practice Provider to work primarily in our Columbus clinic and affiliated hospitals.
Job Details
Office location: primarily our Columbus office and affiliated hospitals.
Schedule: Monday‑Friday with half days on Fridays; occasional weekend rounding.
Manage assigned office patients, order appropriate tests and procedures, prescribe medications, and refer to cardiologists and specialists as needed.
Assist with hospital consults and rounding, including documentation, histories, test ordering, medication management, stress‑test supervision, and other orders.
Collaborate closely with other APNs and cardiologists in both clinic and hospital settings.
Complete all appropriate care documentation.
Maintain required CMEs, privileges, and licensure.
Excellent compensation package with bonuses, incentives, and benefits.
Qualifications
Accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program – Board Certified required.
Cardiology experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
Hard‑working with a patient‑satisfaction/quality focus.
Team‑player, collegial, and patient‑centered.
This position is for a full‑time role within a collaborative cardiology practice.
