Job Overview Stocking associates are focused on unloading trucks and stocking new freight. They spend the majority of their time in the backroom. Stocking associates must be able to lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts may also be necessary.
Responsibilities
Unload freight from trucks.
Stock new freight on shelves and in backroom storage.
Maintain a safe and organized backroom environment.
Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery when required.
Assist in inventory management and reporting.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in stocking, warehousing, or related field preferred.
Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods.
Valid forklift certification a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
