This is a full‑time on‑site role located in Ashburn, VA for a Montessori Assistant Teacher. The Montessori Assistant Teacher will support the lead teacher in implementing Montessori materials and methods, cultivating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children. Responsibilities include assisting children in their daily activities, fostering their independence, enhancing their academic and social skills, maintaining the classroom environment, and ensuring the safety and well‑being of all students. Collaboration with staff and effective communication with parents will also be a key part of the role. Qualifications
Experience or skills in Assistant Teaching and Working With Children Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and educators Familiarity with Education practices, particularly Montessori methods, and basic Mathematics A nurturing and patient approach with dedication to supporting child development Montessori certification or relevant teaching experience is a plus Ability to contribute to a collaborative and organized team environment Seniority Level
