Job Summary and Qualifications Every patient deserves attentive, timely, and well‑coordinated care. As the RN Coordinator for ED Flow/Throughput, you will play a key role in ensuring patients move through the Emergency Department with clarity, clinical support, and thoughtful coordination. By aligning staffing, patient placement, and clinical resources, you’ll help teams deliver care that is organized, safe, and patient‑centered. In moments of urgency and complexity, your leadership will keep caregivers connected, supported, and focused on their mission to care for and improve human life.

Your role will include:

Coordinating patient placement, triage processes, EMS handoffs, and inpatient transfers.

Aligning staffing plans with patient volume, acuity, and department needs.

Monitoring delays in care transitions and collaborating on solutions.

Supporting safety priorities, experience initiatives, and quality outcomes.

Partnering with physicians, nurses, and care teams to remove barriers.

Providing clinical guidance, escalation support, and patient care when needed.

Qualifications you will need:

Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Either an (APRN) Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or (RN) Registered Nurse qualification.

Registered Nurse diploma or Associate Degree in nursing.
