Lead Preschool Teacher
to join our early childhood education team. Our center provides a joyful, structured, and hands‑on learning environment where children explore, grow, and thrive.
If you are pursuing or have completed a
BA or AA in Early Childhood Education , or are actively working toward your credential, this is an excellent opportunity to continue your professional growth in a supportive, high‑quality preschool setting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a preschool classroom that supports social, emotional, academic, and physical development.
Implement The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum using play-based and developmentally appropriate practices.
Build strong relationships with families through daily communication, progress updates, and engagement.
Collaborate with assistant teachers to maintain consistency, structure, and a positive classroom culture.
Ensure compliance with NYC childcare regulations and center safety standards.
Model professionalism, teamwork, and best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
BA or AA in Early Childhood Education , or currently enrolled and working toward completion (required).
Minimum
6 months of professional childcare or preschool teaching experience .
Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
Must meet all NYC and state childcare licensing requirements.
