Three (3) Current Letters of Recommendation (dated within the past year with a wet signature; digital signatures will not be accepted)

Valid Detailed Copy or screenshot of California Education Specialist: Mild/Moderate Instruction or Mild to Moderate Support Needs Credential (do not attach the certificate copy; see below for instructions)

Copy of EL Authorization (if included on your credential)

Copy of Added Autism Authorization Spectrum Credential – AAAS (if included on your credential)

If you have an Intern Credential and are eligible, include a current eligibility letter from your credential program

For those who will be credentialed, a letter from your university stating the expected completion date of the Mild/Moderate Credential with AAAS and EL Authorization

To obtain a detailed credential copy, visit

www.ctc.ca.gov , click “Search for an Educator,” enter your Social Security Number and Birth Date, select your valid teaching credential, and print the certificate. Upload the printed copy to your application.

Qualifications

Mild/Moderate Credential (Education Specialist or Support Needs) with AAAS and EL Authorization

Valid teaching credential in California

For Interns, proof of eligibility

Strong instructional experience working with students requiring special education services (not required to be listed but implied)
