Clearance Level T2 - Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT)
Primary Function Responsible for supervising armed guards and ensuring perimeter and high-risk area security in compliance with ICE standards. All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high‑quality standard for which Acuity International is recognized. Actively support and uphold the Company's stated vision, mission and values.
Responsibilities
Oversee armed guard teams across all shifts
Monitor use of force protocols and weapons handling
Coordinate detainee transport and external security operations
Train staff on tactical response and emergency procedures
Patrol facility perimeter and secure entry/exit points
Escort detainees during external movements
Respond to security breaches and emergencies
Maintain weapons and tactical gear readiness
Provides direction and guidance to staff
Implements emergency plans and achieves rapid recovery of program support services in the event of an emergency, natural disaster, or other calamity
Enforces safety standards, risk monitoring, and risk management
Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED; Preferred: Associate or bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Homeland Security, or a related field
3-5 years in armed security, military police, or law enforcement; 1-2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
Familiarity with ICE Performance-Based National Detention Standards (PBNDS)
Familiarity with detainee transport protocols, perimeter security, and emergency response procedures.
Must be able to multi‑task, be detail‑oriented, be organized and have excellent verbal and communication skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain favorable background investigations
Must be proficient in English; able to receive and understand detailed information through oral and written communication.
Must be proficient with computers, common office equipment, and MS Office suite.
Meet the requirements of the contract for all immunizations.
Must be able to work full time hours, weekends, and holidays.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be a US citizen or permanent resident, Resided in the US for 3 years in the past 5 years.
Preferred Qualifications
Law enforcement or military background preferred
ORR or ICE experience
CPR/First Aid certification
Active firearms certification (e.g., HR‑218, state POST), Use of Force, and defensive tactics.
Bilingual
Has undergone a federal investigation at the level of Tier 2 or higher; has been granted favorable suitability/eligibility and has not had a break in service for more than 24 months.
Ability to travel
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions
Work is performed in secure detention facility settings and office environments, including austere conditions.
Requires extended periods of sitting, standing, and operational oversight.
