Position Description The Mechanical Engineering Heat Transfer Lab is looking for two qualified postdoctoral researchers that are self‑motivated, creative and enthusiastic to work on experimental measurements and numerical simulations of heat transfer in micro/nanomaterials and their interfaces. The duties of the postdocs will include: i) conduct experiments and simulations to characterize non‑diffusive heat transfer in micro/nanomaterials and their interfaces; ii) write papers describing the results; and iii) assist with the oversight of graduate and undergraduate assistants working on these projects.

Qualifications Basic qualifications:

Must have a PhD in thermal science and engineering, or a related field, and experience in thermometry and modeling. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred qualifications:

Highly motivated individual who has demonstrated the ability to work independently.
