Executive Assistant – Investment Team
Join National Life Group as an Executive Assistant for the Investment Team. This role provides executive‑level administrative support to our Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and NLG Capital Leadership team.

Role Summary As an Executive Assistant, you will provide in‑depth administrative and project coordination support. You will plan, organize, and manage special projects, interface with external partners, and assist all levels of leadership throughout the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide timely and effective administrative support to our CIO and the NLG Capital Leadership Team.
Draft communications; collaborate on messaging and manage information flow.
Arrange travel, accommodations, itineraries, and related expense reports.
Plan, organize, and execute events such as meetings, team building activities, client dinners, and special projects.
Manage day‑to‑day administrative affairs of our CIO, maintaining confidentiality and proactively anticipating needs.
Track and help drive completion of key deliverables, following up on outstanding action items.
Manage sophisticated calendar, prioritize inquiries, resolve conflicts, and recommend solutions.
Oversee departmental operations, including team onboarding and inventory needs.
Collaborate with other administrative professionals on information gathering, formatting, and proofreading of business documents.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Investment/asset manager experience.
Extensive administrative experience with a proven record as a C‑suite administrative professional.
Experience in project coordination.
High level interpersonal skills for handling sensitive and confidential situations.
Strong verbal, written, and phone communication skills.
A self‑starter who works without direct supervision, thinks independently, and makes recommendations with tact and discretion.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment and manage multiple competing tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Knowledge of various software applications and the ability to quickly learn new company systems.
Availability to work required hours and onsite Monday‑Thursday, with flexible Fridays.
Ability to pass a background check.

Base Pay Range The base pay range is the range National Life expects to pay based on experience, education, and market factors. The final salary may differ based on other factors.
Additional Compensation and Benefits The total compensation includes medical, financial, and other benefits, including 401(k), paid time off, and discretionary annual incentive programs. The position is at‑will and subject to adjustment.

Hourly Pay Range $34 – $50 USD
