Position at The Goddard School. We’re looking for an energetic, nurturing, and supportive teacher to lead a 2‑year‑old classroom.

Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
2 years of previous experience preferred
Valid DHHS Criminal Background Check
Valid TB Test
Valid Medical Report
Knowledge of childcare programming, safety, emergency first‑aid procedures, program management, and customer service principles
Ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
Works productively without supervision within established organizational policies and procedures
Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Dependable, adaptable, and enjoys teamwork
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with outstanding listening ability
Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multitasking
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with handling children; for infant and young toddler teachers must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
Duties
Create and implement age‑appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play‑based learning
Conduct regular assessments to track each child's progress and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Follow all daycare policies and procedures to ensure the well‑being of the children
