Postdoctoral Psychology Fellow – Lorenz Clinic Lorenz Clinic is dedicated to excellence in psychological services and training, prioritizing reflective practice, interprofessionalism, and clinician well‑being over rapid expansion. Our mission is to prepare doctoral‑level clinicians for independent practice through rigorous training and high‑quality clinical work.

The Training Lorenz offers two distinct fellowship placements:

Couples and Family Psychology (CFP)

for psychologists and

Post‑Doctor of Nursing Practice (post‑DNP)

for psychiatry applicants. Fellows receive weekly supervision from a Board‑Certified Couples and Family Psychologist (psychology fellows) or from a licensed psychologist plus an advanced practice nurse or psychiatrist (post‑DNP fellows). The program is APPIC‑listed for psychology and follows a scientist‑practitioner model.

The Departments Fellows work within an interdisciplinary team that includes family therapists, social workers, psychiatry providers, professional counselors, and psychologists. They serve primarily on a service‑specific outpatient team and provide additional support to in‑home and intensive outpatient teams, with caseloads aligned to their clinical interests and program needs.

The Role Fellows deliver applied, clinical services to clients in an outpatient setting. The one‑year, full‑time fellowship prepares trainees for independent clinical work after licensure, offering a comprehensive blend of psychotherapy, assessment, and supervision.
