About the role The Senior Tech Sales Supp Specialist provides global industry-leading technical support to Boston Scientific field personnel, clinicians, patients, and other internal customers. Help our customers use our products by providing immediate, accurate and up-to-date information regarding current and historical market-released Cardiac Rhythm Management products (e.g., pacemakers, defibrillators, implanted cardiac monitors), and assisting in troubleshooting, problem solving and assessment of product operation.
Your responsibilities will include
Provide 24/7 global industry-leading technical support to customers via multiple communication pathways (phone, fax, email, etc.).
Analyze and assess CRM product operation and make recommendations for optimal device management.
Utilize advanced troubleshooting skills, extensive CRM product knowledge and thorough understanding of clinical application to respond to customer inquiries.
Educate, support and train customers through phone consultation, training programs, written correspondence, and general field assistance.
Document and evaluate customer inquiries, comments, and concerns.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of medical device or clinical experience
In-depth understanding of complex cardiac device functionality, and potential impacts to the patient
Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
Must work well in a team environment
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Excellent research and analytical skills
Participates in on-call rotations for 24/7 support, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
Clinical experience in electrophysiology and procedures such as pacemaker and ICD implants
Direct patient care experience or experience in a healthcare environment
Strong technical knowledge of industry CRM products
Strong technical understanding of relevant procedures and associated medical terminology
