Revenue Cycle Management Specialist (Business Office Rep II)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detailed-oriented and experienced Revenue Cycle Management Specialist to join our growing ENT practice. This position is essential to ensuring accurate billing and timely reimbursement. The responsibilities include submitting clean claims to payers, reviewing and resolving claim denials, rejections, and underpayments. This position will also follow up on unpaid claims and provide communication regarding billing questions and patient balances to parents/guardians. Will also assist with other billing office-related activities.
Responsibilities
Submit clean claims to payers
Review and resolve claim denials, rejections, and underpayments
Follow up on unpaid claims
Communicate billing questions and patient balances to parents/guardians
Assist with billing office-related activities
Education High school graduate or equivalent required. Two years of college in a business or healthcare related field is preferred.
Experience
1–3 years ENT professional office revenue cycle management experience preferred
Experience with insurance verification, coding, billing, and collections
Familiarity with EPIC is a plus
Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask
Location: Children's of Alabama · Pediatric ENT Associates Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
