The hospital is committed to providing continuous educational and therapeutic services to the region.
Unit Clerk – Day Shift
Provides continuous administrative and clerical duties on the unit under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Works a Day Shift (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) with rotating weekends; flexible hours and overtime may be required.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Degree or equivalent required; Certified Nursing Assistant preferred; Degree in social work, recreational therapy or related therapeutic discipline highly desirable.
Experience:
One (1) year of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness preferred.
Licensure:
Must maintain a valid driver’s license in the applicable state.
Additional Requirements:
Successful completion of Crisis Prevention Intervention Behavior Training, Service Excellence Training and CPR certification required; certifications may be obtained during new hire orientation.
