Job Summary A Whole New World Academy is seeking a warm, patient, and dedicated Lead / Assistant Teacher for our Two-Year-Old Classroom. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing, safe, and developmentally supportive environment while helping children build independence, social skills, and early academic readiness.
Teachers do not need to create their own lesson plans we provide a well-organized, structured curriculum along with learning materials, activities, and support. The primary responsibility is to implement the curriculum, engage with students through play-based learning, communicate with families, and contribute positively to the classroom environment. The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, and creative.

Responsibilities Supervise and care for a class of two-year-old children
Implement our centers structured curriculum and daily activities (no lesson planning required)
Create a welcoming, safe classroom where children feel loved, supported, and confident
Promote social-emotional development, early language skills, and hands-on learning
Maintain a clean, organized learning environment following safety and hygiene protocols
Communicate daily with parents regarding progress, behaviors, and milestones
Follow center policies, licensing requirements, and classroom management expectations
Qualifications
Previous experience as a daycare teacher or childcare provider
Strong understanding of child development
Patient, kind, and nurturing
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
Ability to lift 2030 lbs and support active play and movement
Must meet NJ childcare licensing requirements for employment
CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days)
