The Level II NDT Technician is responsible for performing non-destructive testing on precision parts to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards. This role works closely with Engineering, Sales, and Product Management to support product development, manufacturing processes, and customer satisfaction. The Level II Technician also mentors Level I technicians and ensures accurate documentation of all inspections in accordance with NDT procedures and industry standards. The technician must have expertise in

Level II Liquid Penetrant (PT) and Radiography (X-Ray, RT)

testing and be capable of interpreting results against applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

Responsibilities

Perform Level II Liquid Penetrant and Radiography (X-Ray) testing on precision parts.

Prepare and set up materials for inspection, operate NDT equipment, and accurately document test results.

Interpret and evaluate test results according to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

Complete inspection forms, logs, and records to support production and quality processes.

Mentor Level I technicians on testing methods and new technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Sales, and Product Management.

Adhere to quality and safety standards, maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

High school diploma or equivalent; Level II certification in Liquid Penetrant and Radiography required.

Knowledge of computer and manufacturing software, product and foundry processes.

Ability to read process sheets, follow instructions, and work with minimal supervision.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Customer-focused with a results-oriented mindset.

Must have valid US work authorization.

Qualifications

Level II certification in Liquid Penetrant and Radiography.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid US work authorization.

Experience interpreting NDT results per codes and standards.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and related software.
