Job Description
We are seeking skilled Cable Technicians to assist with pulling cable and terminating keystone-style jacks at a large construction site. This role involves installing and testing structured cabling systems, including Cat5/6 and fiber optic cables, as well as other network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Pull, terminate, and test Cat5/6 and fiber optic cables.
Install cabling infrastructure (racks, cabinets, etc.).
Install network racks and cabinets in server rooms.
Review job documentation, including: Floor plans (equipment locations) Reflected ceiling plans Conduit call‑outs Wall elevations Signal flow diagrams Cable pull schedules
Physical Requirements
Regularly stand, climb, walk, sit, push, pull, squat, crawl, and stoop.
Use hands for handling tools and typing.
Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Specific vision abilities: close, distance, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Comfortable using power tools.
Required PPE
Hard hat with chin strap.
Safety glasses.
Steel‑toed shoes.
Safety vest.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Claude, TX.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00–$35.00/hr.
