Utility Locate Technician $21.22 - $33.01/hr – Four Corners, Montana
Join ELM Companies, a national utility services provider, as a Utility Locate Technician. You will work independently outdoors, using company-provided equipment and advanced LaunchPoint software to mark underground utilities and keep communities safe.
Roles & Responsibilities
Complete a daily route of locate requests and perform accurate, safe marking of underground utilities using paint, flags and other marking implements.
Use the mobile work system to receive and log daily tasks.
Operate company vehicle, fuel card and cell phone from
home to job sites . The vehicle is a company asset that you take home each day.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED; must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver’s license.
Pass pre-employment drug, motor‑vehicle record and background checks.
Must comply with DOT regulations; use of marijuana is prohibited.
Benefits & Compensation
Hourly rate $21.22 – $33.01 with
cost‑of‑living supplements
for specific zip codes:
$4.00/hr for 59715, 59716, 59718, 59730
$3.00/hr for 59714, 59741
Company vehicle, fuel card and cell phone.
Optional benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, FSA, HSA and Teledoc.
Company‑paid life insurance.
Paid‑time off (PTO) accruing up to 80 hours per full year with increases for service.
