Utility Locate Technician $20-$30/hr Cheyenne, Wyoming
ELM Utility Services is hiring a Utility Locate Technician in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Technicians play a critical role in ensuring safe and reliable gas, electric, and communication systems by accurately locating underground utilities to prevent damage during excavation.

Roles & Responsibilities
Work independently outdoors using the company-provided vehicle as a mobile office, completing a route of locate requests each day.
Accurately, safely, and efficiently locate and mark underground utilities using marking paint, flags, and occasionally whiskers.
Use the mobile work system to receive daily tasks.
Qualifications
Pass a pre‑employment drug, motor vehicle record, and background check.
This is a safety‑sensitive DOT position that must comply with all Federal Department of Transportation regulations. Use of marijuana (medical or recreational) remains prohibited.
High School Diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license.
